As you know meta tags are one of the most important SEO steps So, you must be very careful when adding meta tags to your blog.
so if you dont know what is meta tags then you must read this know, do you know where does Google and other search engines gets the information about the website that appears in the search results this is where the story begins, META tags are a piece of code that will be included between the opening head tag and the closing head tag, it has a tag of description, a tag of keywords, a tag of title and you coud extra things like the name of the author and many more…… now here is the tutorial that will teach how to add meta tags exactly and correctly in bogger blogs

1. Copy the meta tags.
Copy the meta tags created by the ORblogs Tag Generator by highlighting the tags, right-clicking with your mouse, and choosing Copy. (Command-click for the menu if you’re on a Mac.) Copying the tags should look like this:

2. Go to Blogger, log in.
Once logged in, you should see a list of your blogs at your Dashboard.

3. Click the title of your blog.
Find the title of the blog you added to ORblogs and click the title. You should find yourself at the post-editing page.

4. Click the template tab.
At the top of the page you’ll see a series of tabs: Posting, Settings, Template, View Blog. Click Template, and you’ll see a large form, like this:

5. Find the correct spot in your template.
Position your cursor between the closing head title tag and the tag, and right-click your mouse. (Mac users: command click.) You should see a menu like this:

6. Click Paste and Save Template Changes.
Highlight Paste on the menu and click to add the tags you copied in Step 1:

Once you’ve pasted the tags, click the orange Save Template Changes button at the bottom of the page.

That’s it! You’ve added custom meta tags to your weblog.
