Do you know how much time it takes for a blog to get indexed at Google? Well it takes almost 2-5 weeks to just get indexed by Google so how much time does it require to start driving traffic? Well you cannot estimate this but getting indexed by Google instantly is really hard so here is some ways on how i got my blog to get indexed in Google almost instantly:

Using Google AdSense:
Do you know that you can help Google bots to crawl your blog using Google AdSense well yes that is write well it is a simple trick but you will need to have AdSense code installed in your blog at the beginning only public service ads will appear so you will have to refresh your browser multiple times till the relevant ads appear this Will force Google bots to crawl your content thinking that actual visitors are viewing your blog.

Is it Against AdSense TOS?
no need to worry refreshing your page has nothing to do with AdSense TOS unless you click on your own ads!

Try as hard as you can to get high PR sites to link with you:
Getting High PR sites links will instantly index your blog in Google so you must try as hard as you can to get a link from PR4-PR8 try to make a review of a pr6 blog related to your blog and contact them asking for a link back maybe you will be lucky.

Submit Your Posts To Article Directories:
Article Directory is a surefire way of getting backlinks related to your site and the more backlinks you get the fast your blog will be indexed Check out my list of article directories.

Submit Your Blog To Web Directories:
Submitting your blog to web directories are always important when you first open your blog some webmasters said that it is the most important step at the beginning.

Ping Whenever You Publish:
Pinging your blog notifies search engines and other places that your blog has updated and the search engines will crawl your site here is two the most important pinging services you can use any one of them but please use only one because if you use both it will be considered as spam

Submit your posts to Social networks:

Social bookmarking these days had became one of the major traffic sources and backlink sources so you might consider also to submit your Post to them you can use an automated program that submits your post to all social bookmarking at once click you can try
