Buying or getting a domain is very important if you are serious about blogging.

Personal Domain:
Personal domain is when you get a domain with your name for example my name is Maher Saleh so I choose mahersaleh.com this is an example.

Keyword Rich Domain:
Search engine often likes domain having their keyword in them for example your blog is about make money online so you will choose moneymaker boy or any other with a keyword in it.

My Opinion:
In my opinion I feel like keyword rich domains are a bit better because of SEO and many reasons but I see most of the big blogs use a personal domain like carl from carlocab.com and John Chow from johnchow.co and there are many others who use keyword rich domains like me and my teacher he is the guy that I can say in my words that he is the greatest blogger I have ever seen he is www.problogger.com

Conclusion:
Its your choice to choose a rich keyword domain but I prefer keyword rich domain.
