All of us know that blogging is one of the easiest ways to make money online so if you are serious about blogging and making money online then STOP! Where you are!

Prepare and study all the stages and important factors of blogging because if you didn’t do that you will fall in the same mistake I have been through so be prepared before starting a blog, in this post I will tell you what to work on before starting a new blog

1) Which Platform To Use:
Most of the successful bloggers are using Wordpress as their blogging platform and I recommend Wordpress much more then blogger below there is a list of the differences between each of them:

Wordpress:

1)Offers a wide number of beautiful Web2.0 templates but blogger do not.

2) They offer plug-ins but blogger do not.

3) They offer a good and professional looking comment system but blogger does not.

Blogger:

1) Owned By Google The Big Daddy!

2) Hosts your blog for free.

Whatever you think it is up to you but it will be a life decision so take it serious man.

2) Keyword research:

Always make a keyword research before starting your blog or website this is an important factor of search engine optimization.

No point of rankings your blog on a keyword with less search volume and more competitors like “website design” people will always use log tail keyword when searching using keyword tracker tools will help you allot in your keyword research.

If you found a keyword that matches your site go to Google and search for that keyword and see how many results are there if it’s in millions it will be hard to reach at the top and it will be quite competitive but if it’s around 50,000 this will be a great deal for you.

Try researching about your competitors, the websites on that he first page on that keyword that you are looking to rank in check how many links they got pointing to them and check what’s their page rank maybe this will give you an idea of what you will need to get to that place.

3) What Will You Blog About?

Always this is the first thing to think about before starting to blog, always blog about what you love to talk about for example you love to talk about “cars” then make a blog about cars I love to make money online so my blog is about making money online.

Choose a topic or niche that everybody would love to read.

4) Budget to spend on advertising:

Everybody would love a kick starting blog but you will need money for that so try having a budget of money to spend them on advertising but remember use your money with creativity you should know where are you advertising and how can this advertising opportunity help my blog some guys would have a budget of 300 bucks and some with 500 it’s up to you.
